Bombshell Superfood: Radishes

Radishes may be the most beautifying of all foods, according to David Wolfe, the authority on natural and raw foods. He cites their high mineral and vitamin content as the reason.  Here is what radishes can do for you:

  • Illuminate skin from the inside, creating a gorgeous glow
  • Build a beautiful smile by strengthening teeth and preventing cavities, bleeding gums, and gum atrophy with its high silicon content
  • Strengthen hair and nails
  • Increase flexibility and elasticity of muscle tissue
  • Diminish wrinkles
  • Balance thyroid
  • Strengthen immune system with a large dose of Vitamin C
Toss thinly sliced radishes into a salad, or cut the pieces thicker and serve with dip.  You can use the radish greens to  make a delicious soup, or to just toss raw in a salad.
