Mango Carrot Smoothie |
Mango has been dubbed the King of Fruits since it's a nutritional powerhouse, so naturally, it's fit for a queen! I like to drink this when my skin is feeling dull, to brighten it from within.
Ingredients
Water (1/4 cup)
Carrot (one)
Mango (one whole if fresh, or about a 1-1/2 cups if frozen)
Instructions
1- Place all ingredients in a Vitamix or high-speed blender.
2- Process for one minute.
3- Serve and enjoy!
Mango: High in potassium, beta-cartotene (to make your skin soft, smooth, and glowy), and also high in fiber so it aids in digestion. Some studies also suggest it helps burn fat.
Carrot: High in anti-oxidants, particularly beta-carotene, Vitamin K, and Vitamin C. Carrots have been shown to have anti-cancer properties, and are also great for eye health.
